If you would like some Pinyin reading practice, try using the DimSum Chinese Tools web converter.
DimSum is a very useful tool for Mandarin students. It has many utilities, including a Mandarin/English dictionary, converting tools, and the a tool for adding pinyin romanization (with translations) to a Chinese web site. DimSum is a Java program that can be installed on almost any computer - Windows, Linux or Mac.
To use the website converter, just type in a web address of a Chinese character webpage. There are several options - Pinyin can be added to the Chinese characters; the text can be converted to Pinyin; or pop-up definitions can appear when you hover your mouse over the characters.
Here's a collection of stories to get you started:

Very useful thanks
But when reading the short stories Im actually better off using google translate because reading a story through DimSum I don’t understand how it all comes together. Then again I don’t know a single character so I need to look everyone up
