Mandarin adjectives can be modified with intensifiers such as tài 太 (too much) or fēicháng 非常 (extremely). One of the most common modifiers is yǒu yīdiǎn, 有一點 (trad) 有一点(simp) which means a little bit.
Mandarin adjectives (also called adjectival stative verbs) usually have a modifier. Hěn 很 is used as a generic modifier. Even though it means very, hěn is usually untranslated. Modifiers – including yǒu yīdiǎn - appear before the adjective.
